The AUTOTHERM® model T-2500 is a design developed specifically for use in heavy-duty trucks where long life and trouble-free operation are a must.

The AUTOTHERM® ERS is comprised of three interconnected components that are designed for quick, easy installation in any large truck. One model fits any 12-volt truck and can be installed in less than 3 hours by anyone skilled to do light maintenance on trucks.

The circulating pump, which splices directly into the heater hose between the top of the engine and the top of the heater, is lightweight and needs no additional support to accommodate hose sizes from 5/8 inch ID to 1 inch ID. This highly efficient pump is magnetically coupled to a small but powerful ball bearing drive motor and the entire system is sealed to operate trouble-free in the dirty, wet and oily atmosphere of an engine compartment. Space-age lubricants, materials and finishes are employed throughout to withstand continuous operation up to 300° F.

A central control unit is located inside the vehicle cab and is designed to monitor and control all vehicle and system functions related to the operation of the AUTOTHERM® ERS and to display system status on the dash control panel.

Wire harnesses are provided to quickly and easily interconnect all ERS and vehicle-related components. Each harness is clearly marked as to function with color-coded wires that are easily identified and custom fitted to each vehicle's specific requirements. No harness contains more than four wires and no harness has the same group of colored wires. Only five connections are made to the vehicle electrical system.
